What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise that device next time. Some are essential to make a site work at all. The rest are optional, and on this site they do not run unless you say so.
The cookies we use
Our consent banner groups cookies into three categories, and you control the last two:
- Necessary. These make the site function, keep it secure, and remember the cookie choice you made so we do not ask again on every page. They cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. These tell us which pages get read, how people move through the site and where they give up, so we can fix what is not working. They are off until you accept them.
- Marketing. These let us measure whether our advertising reaches the right people. They are off until you accept them.
Managing your choices
You choose when the banner first appears, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings on this site. Turning a category off stops new cookies in that category and we stop using what it collected.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies, and its help pages explain how. Blocking necessary cookies will stop parts of this site working properly.
Third party cookies
Analytics and marketing tags are delivered through Google Tag Manager, and only load after you accept the matching category. Pages that embed a third-party service, such as a map or a video, may also set cookies from that provider once the content loads.
How this relates to our privacy policy
This page covers cookies specifically. Our privacy policy covers everything else we do with your personal information, including what we collect when you enquire and who we share it with.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the site changes. The current version is always here, dated at the top. This version is dated 22 September 2026.
