An outdoor payment terminal is what lets a fuel site sell after hours, or run without staff at all. It handles the transaction at the pump: card and PIN, contactless, and mobile payment, with receipt printing and transaction recording.
For fleet operations it does more than take money. Fleet card processing with driver identification means fuel is attributed to the vehicle and the driver, and spending controls and fuel restrictions can be set per account.
